Siberian Husky · Certified Therapy Dog · Trail Companion
Rosé was born into a family of mushers — her lineage traced back through my great uncle's working sled dog lines. These weren't companion animals. They were athletes. They were partners. They knew terrain the way some people know language. From the moment she entered my life, something clicked that I still can't fully explain.
She is more human than dog, sometimes. She reads a room. She knows when to press close and when to give space. She has sat beside strangers in their worst moments and brought them back without making a sound. That's not training — that's something older. Something in her bones.
She's a certified therapy dog. She's summited snowy peaks in the Cascades. She has navigated canyon rims, walked beaches at sunrise, ridden shotgun across twelve states. Every expedition I take, she takes with me. Not as a passenger — as a co-navigator.
Some people need a map to find their way. I have Rosé. She is, without question, the best thing that has ever joined me on the trail — and she has never once complained about the miles.
